Sponsorship Opportunities

OPPORTUNITIES

Now entering its 30th Season, ProMusica Chamber Orchestra presents a stellar eleven-subscription concert series that features talented guest artists and innovative programming. Combined with radio broadcasts, an active recording program, and its community engagement program, ProMusica touches a broad and diverse audience base - providing sponsors excellent recognition, visibility, and hospitality opportunities.

Corporate and Individual sponsorship opportunities can be crafted to accommodate each sponsor’s musical interests, and promotional and hospitality needs. Sponsorships can include support of a single concert, a concert series, or even a guest artist.

Guest Artists and Individual Concerts

The 2008–2009 Season runs from October 2008 through May 2009. Several fantastic performances are available for sponsorship, including Beethoven Symphony No. 7, Brahms Double with Gluzman and Hoffman, and An Evening Around the World. Sponsor the appearance of guest artists, such as Vadim Gluzman, Gary Hoffman and Conrad Tao.

Commissioning Club

Commissioning new works and promoting an understanding of contemporary American music is an important part of ProMusica's mission, having commissioned 41 new works and presented 97 premieres. The 2008-2009 Season will feature commissions and world premieres by Conrad Tao and J. Ralph. What a wonderful opportunity to take part in the creation process of a brand new work - and support a talented composer in collaboration with ProMusica.

Education Program Sponsorships

Sponsor or co-sponsor any of the educational programs or series listed to show your commitment to providing outreach opportunties that are making a tremendous impact in keeping the arts stable and vital in our community:

  • Musicians in the Schools: Provides a focus on relationship building with area high school students. ProMusica musicians visit schools to meet with and coach high school orchestra students. Those students are invited to attend ProMusica rehearsals – bridging what they learn in a classroom to real-life experiences of professional musicians.

  • Stop! Look! Listen!: An interactive, cross-disciplinary program that includes a family-friendly concert in collaboration with the Columbus Museum of Art.

  • Open Rehearsals for Seniors : This working rehearsal gives senior citizens from the community the great opportunity to watch how beautiful music is made.

  • ProMusica at COSI Youth and Family Day Program: Year-long program serving under-privileged children to break down the barriers of enjoying classical music, and providing an opportunity to engage these children with the beauty and power of music and the arts.

  • INSIGHT: A Casual Conversation: An educational and enlightening conversation with Music Director Timothy Russell and WOSU-FM host Boyce Lancaster about each evening's program, discussing insights into the music performed, interesting facts about the composers, and sharing great enthusiasm for music.

ProMusica Sustaining Board

The ProMusica Sustaining Board is composed of Central Ohio residents who believe in supporting the arts in Ohio. This group was founded in 1988 to provide financial and volunteer support for the ProMusica Chamber Orchestra (PMCO). A priority of the group is to expand community awareness and support of the orchestra. We welcome all interested community members to become a part of the Sustaining Board and help us keep our orchestra vibrant and thriving. Your support helps us strengthen our award-winning orchestra. The PMCO Sustaining Board members are a dedicated and invaluable group of individuals who donate more than money, they give of their time and talents. Throughout the year, members meet to work on exciting social and fundraising events: the annual Wine Dinner in February at the Refrectory, The Mac Anderson Lecture Series held for 3 nights in January at the Columbus School for Girls, and our signature event of 14 years, Culinary Capers. Our 15th year will be especially memorable, as we are helping celebrate the orchestra’s 30th anniversary celebration. Culinary Capers has always encouraged us to set aside time to meet new friends, greet old friends and enjoy a day of camaraderie among supporters of ProMusica: A winning combination of friends, food and music. New members are needed and welcomed throughout the year!! Please join and invite your friends to join. Membership dues are: Regular, $50.00(help with one event); Noteworthy, $110.00 (support and involvement); and our new level: First Chair, $200.00 (support for new commissions and two tickets to a concert). Proceeds from our fundraising events help with educational programs, community outreach and commissioning new pieces for the orchestra. Your help and support are encouraged.
