OPEN REHEARSALS FOR SENIORSProMusica opens several of its real, working rehearsals to senior citizens in the Columbus community. This program allows seniors to experience how the orchestra prepares for a performance. Large print programs are available, and light refreshments are provided at the break. Seniors are welcome to stay for the entire two-and-a-half hour rehearsal or may leave at the break. Students are invited to attend ProMusica concert rehearsals, providing an opportunity to bridge classroom learning with real-life experiences similar to those of professional musicians. Students will see what it takes to prepare for a concert and observe the intricacies and intensity of a professional rehearsal. Registration is required.
