Meet the Composer Event: Derek Bermel

Join visiting composer Derek Bermel for a free masterclass on Friday, Feb. 5. Bermel will speak about his most recent composition: A Shout, A Whisper, A Trace. He will provide invaluable insight to guests by sharing his creative process and inspiration for the piece.

In addition, Bermel will speak about the demands on contemporary composer and offer tips to attendees on how to better write their music.
