ProMusica joins Mid-Ohio Foodbank's Operation Feed

ProMusica partners with Operation Feed
ProMusica Chamber Orchestra has always strived to feed the soul through its musical ventures. Now, it has joined forces with the Mid-Ohio Foodbank’s Operation Feed to help feed the hungry in central and eastern Ohio with a food drive at its upcoming concerts. The Orchestra will offer a discount to its remaining concerts on April 4, 5, and 18 to anyone who donates one can of food or more.
Over the past year, there has developed a growing need for food and a shortage of supplies in our community food pantries, soup kitchens and emergency shelters. So ProMusica is asking the Columbus community to help turn the tide around and to join its food drives at the following events:

To participate, individuals would call Joseph Calmer at the ProMusica Box Office at 614.464.0066 and tell him they would want to be part of Operation Feed. Tickets could be at Will Call on the day of the concerts with presentation of donation of food. Also, participants can visit the ProMusica office to make their donations: 243 N. 5th St., Ste. 202, Columbus, OH 43215.
Food items most needed include: pasta meals in a can, canned fruit, tuna, canned vegetables, canned meat, soup and peanut butter.
