VOICES FROM THE GALLERY / THURBER'S DOGS

This compact disc with full-color art book showcases ProMusica on two adventuresome new compositions. Voices from the Gallery interprets famous works of art through compositions by Stephen Paulus and poetry by Joan Vail Thorne. Thurber's Dogs celebrates Columbus author James Thurber's 100th birtday with musical movements by Peter Schickele, inspired by Thurber's own dog drawings.  (1996)
